Pymble and West Pymble have some of the larger family homes on the North Shore: open-plan living areas, high ceilings, double-height entries and stairwells, and a mix of brick, rendered and architect-designed houses from the post-war decades onward. The jobs we see here are less about tight access and more about scale: big wall areas, high work and keeping a busy household running while it’s done.
High ceilings, stair voids and double-height walls need the right access equipment and protection of stair treads, balustrades and floors. We plan a room-by-room sequence so bedrooms and the kitchen stay usable, agree a daily finish time, and give you a written timeframe in the quote.
Rendered homes often show hairline cracking over time. Fine cracks can be filled and coated with a flexible exterior system, such as Dulux AcraTex, that moves with the wall. Wider or recurring cracks can point to movement in the structure; we’ll tell you if a crack should be looked at by a builder before it’s painted, rather than hiding it under paint.
Yes. We bring the access equipment the job needs and include it in the quote. Stair treads, rails and floors are covered and protected.
Hairline cracks, yes, with filling and a flexible coating. Wider cracks or cracks that keep returning should be checked first. We’ll tell you which is which at the quote.
Yes. We work through the house in an agreed order and keep main living areas usable.
